Jzk and many thanks for these valuable presentations. Shaykh al Wasiti’s conclusions about the Shadhiliyya and other Sufis (genuine) are subjective and perhaps more to do with his particular orientation and temperament. The majority of authentic Sufis as you know hold that there is no arrival to Allah (swt) without conformity to the Sharia and the Sunnah. However one’s conception of this may be different in detail just like the difference of the Imams of Usool and Fiqh in their understanding. <br><br>A further observation is that perhaps Sh al Wasiti’s perspective aligns with what Shah Waliullah ad Dehlavi calls the kamalat of Nubuwwah in contrast with what he calls the kamalat of Wilayah.
