Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen, one of the criminally underrated broadcasting duos in NFL history.

Tom Flores and Lester Hayes need to be in the Hall of Fame. It's a no brainer.

This game will always be special to me. My mom and dad were getting ready to fly out of the country for a wedding the next day. I was 7 and feeling down, so my dad took me to the store (Gemco) and let me pick out a toy. I remember coming home all excited to set up my hot wheels race track and this game was on tv. I ended up watching the game instead. Just one of those random memories that I have spending time with my dad.

I was a patient at Cedar Sanai Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. That date was Jan 03, 1984. The nurse asked me Do you like football ? The Los Angeles Raiders are playing against the Seattle Seahawks in the Championship game.
I was recovering from a left lower leg broken tibia bone from a motorcycle accident.
gustav vatzug

That BS interference on Lester Hayes’ interception on the first drive was an absolute criminal call. Lester in his prime was possibly the best cover Cornerback of all time.

Todd Christensen should be in the Hall of Fame. His career stats compare favorably to fellow Pro Bowler Ozzie Newsome, especially given that Todd played FB for several years. I would say Todd had a lot more YAC, and was just as good a blocker. Todd was intelligent, and a Mormon who tried to fit in with the Raiders. A winner.
