  I worked for Bruce at this house for 6 months doing building/decorating work, he was often around. He was lovely to us all, he once invited me to sit down with him and his family to have fish and chips, he would phone my house on occasions and have my wife in stitches. He kindly invited myself and my wife to his “Audience with Bruce’ and sat us with his family, lovely lovely man, and I’m just a builder……… God bless you Mr Forsyth and may you Rest in Piece ❤️

  RIP Caron Keating. Saw her in the first few seconds of this video. Gloria Hunifords daughter. Died too young. 😢

  I went there a few times to deliver furniture - Bruce was always really polite, really down to earth, a proper gentleman.

  I don't know why this makes me sadly nostalgic, perhaps because as a boy I remember watching The Generation Game with my mum, when home was home and the world was a different place through my childhood eyes. I'm a grandfather now... Time stands still (chops to NP)

  This is wild. There is a video on Youtube "At home with Bruce Forsyth" that was filmed in 2001, in which Bruce and his wife Wilnelia were interviewed by Caron Keating and showed her around the ground floor of the house a little bit. You can literally see some of the same decorations, curtains and other fittings that are STILL THERE to this day. It is insane that the place has just been left completely abandoned for years and years after poor Brucie checked out.

  This brought back many memories. I used to go up to Wentworth with friends. We would sit back from the driving range Just down from where you were and a few smokes. My Friends father used to play golf at Wentworth and would often play with Bruce. I saw many pictures of him and Bruce together, usually with a Charity placard in front of them. I also bumped in to  him a few times shopping. Back in the 1980s, before Blockbuster. The area only had one video rental store called Square eyes in Egham. I started working there in the 80s after school and weekends. Quite a few stars from the estate would come in to rent movies. Russ Abbot was the most common.
