  I am a woman and I fixed my own air conditioner.  My unit is old but right now it is working like a charm and is so much quieter after replacing the capcitor and I also replaced the controller on my outside unit and cleaned the coils inside.  I was so scared but I still did it.  I am so thankful these videos are out there.  thank you!

  Take a picture..a couple before pulling wires off of old one...it helped me

  My capacitor went out Saturday evening. I knew what it was but didn't know how to fix it. Called the A/C Co and they wanted to charge me $400.00. I watched a few videos and I fixed it myself for $22.95. These companies prey on people who don't have any knowledge of things. Do your research, watch a few videos and save yourself a lot of money.

  I just found my AC have same issue. I called the company and they said this is old unit and need to replace. I will try after this video. Thank you very much for uploading , very informative.
