  Can’t even keep her eyes open so she can avoid eye contact.<br>These doctors are being sued, remember that, so they’re going to try very hard to exonerate themselves from malpractice and negligence culpability.<br>Chances are they fell into complacency in their work since the burnout rate is HIGH for psychiatry.

  Defense is killing it! The system failed these children, when you have a woman saying she’s suicidal (although no clear plan) and husband tells you prior meds were not working or she hasnt slept for 2 solid days. What are the doctors there for? What else can a woman do if she is in a depressed or manic state? When do we start holding doctors responsible?

  What the actual f*** is this??? She keeps saying “I don’t know” or “what do you mean” or to very simple, clear questions. She doesn’t even know the patient’s diagnosis!? Or the patient’s medical and medication history???

  The memory differences these &quot;professional&quot; witnesses experience between the ADA and defense is astounding. He can only ask about things the ADA has already asked, and they answered confidently, but the defense goes over it 5 minutes later and they suddenly don&apos;t know enough to be in practice. To be fair, the judge should send the jury out and tell these witnesses to knock their crap off, they are under oath. Ridiculous.

  So McLean hospital doesn’t think it’s necessary to pick up the phone and call around to get a patient’s medical records?? Isn’t that pretty standard at non-psychiatric hospitals?
