Is it ever OK to keep potentially dangerous animals?

It's against the law for me to keep a couple laying hens on my property but this guy has literal Lions, Tigers, and Bears.  The law is an ass.

I wish I could explain exactly why I find you so compelling, but it's more about the sum of all the parts and the attention to detail evinced in each. You make a symphony. Excellent channel.

I watched this story covered on another channel recently and it was one of the most disturbing stories I’ve ever heard. You presented it in a much more respectful way though, so thank you

Terry was truly evil. Not only did he release the majority of his animals knowing that they would be killed by officers and other animal services; but you know he obviously believed that many of his animals would have been a threat to other humans. He KNEW that people were going to die that day by his animals (fortunately no human was physically injured, but he would never live to find that out). And he took his own life believing that both those innocent animals and random innocent people in the town would be injured and killed. He planned for all that to happen. What a cruel, cruel man.

How sad. Being an animal lover this is heartbreaking. Unfortunately I believe the authorities did what they had to do. These animals have evolved to be perfect killing machines with enormous speed, strength, and power. This guy put his entire community at risk and then cowardly killed himself and condemned these innocent animals to death.

I think you handled a terrible tragedy for everyone concerned in it with sensitivity Zoe… I for one don’t think any private citizen should be allowed to keep these kinds of animals… especially in such numbers. It was a disaster waiting to happen. RIP to the innocent animals.
