It would be a poetic metaphor if Batman was O- while Joker was AB+. The selfless hero gives to all, asking nothing in return, and the villain giving nothing and taking everything.

I remember thinking “that’s odd, are they even compatible blood types?” the first time I played the game.

Game developers who simply made a consistency error: “uh, yeah, totally!”

After getting a certain comment, I actually remembered a piece of evidence that further helps this theory. Titan is based on Venom/TN-1, the drug Bane uses to go all berserk. In Arkham Origins, we see that TN-1 basically ruins Bane's brain, and gives him amnesia. With that in mind, it would make even more sense for Titan to have the protein-altering affects I mentioned. If the drug it's initially based on breaks the brain, why shouldn't the more advanced version do something worse to the brain? I'm so mad I forgot about this fact, because I think it just helps the creutzfeldt-jakob arguments I made even more!

So the Cain and Abel reference really does go as deep as blood. A sick twisted take on blood brothers and a tragic ending.

I was in biology and learning about blood types in fact I did my essay on hemophilia and I played through Arkham city while learning about blood types and I actually had this thought but I didn’t follow it up with the symptoms so props to you for doing the research and making a great video on it

I figured the poison in Joker's blood was just at such a late stage that any transfusion would put anyone on the same death clock. Like a strain of a virus that's mutated several times over instead of a new, weaker strain.

Can we also note that perhaps the needle he was transfused with probably was not the most sterile, given the environment he was sitting in.

One of the lesser known symptoms of a bad blood transfusion is a sense of impending doom. And what would you call seeing your dead parents telling you to join them in the light

I'm more worried about the highly visible gaps in the bloodflow in the tubing attached to Batman's arm. Bad blood can kill you in a day, but an air bubble in the bloodstream can kill you in *minutes*.
