  The all-time best western-made documentary about this war is called <b>&quot;Hearts and Minds&quot;</b> and was released in 1975, with footage both from north and south Vietnam including interviews and footage from Saigon in January and February, &nbsp;just weeks before the final stage of the conflict began. It is brilliant film-marking and journalism of a kind that doesn&apos;t exist anymore and terribly TERRIBLY relevant to all that is happening in the world today....

  I was living in the Philippines from 1966 to 1969 as a teenager. I lived outside Clark AFB and remember well when the Tet offensive began. It was early in the morning when the Air Police came through the off-base housing areas telling all civilian and military personal to report to their duty stations immediately. It was actually quite exciting for me and my brother as the AFRTS was broadcasting reports from Vietnam. Later that morning an armada of Air-Evac planes, mostly C130s and C141&apos;s started nonstop landings at Clark and all the Candy Stripers from my High School were very busy at the Hospital on Clark. I joined the Army in 1972 but was not sent to Vietnam. Almost all of the Drill Sargeant&apos;s and Officers and NCO&apos;s I served with were Vietnam Veterans and they were the most highly trained and honorable men I could have ever served with. I heard countless stories of the war and this video brought back many memories. Thank you for posting this.

  During the time frame of this report, February and March, 1968, I was drafted into the U.S. Army on 04 March, 1968, a Monday.
