  I think the Type 500 trains has the best design among all types of shinkansen train. Especially, Hello Kitty shinkansen using Type 500 was very cute. 😻<br>However, I guess I could never ride a Type 500 train. 😿<br><br>By the way, do you know resort trains which ran in Hokkaido from mid 1980s to early 2020s?<br>They are all diesel car trains and their highest speed was 130km/h. But they had characteristic beautiful designs. The name of trains are as follows:<br>・Alpha Continental Express (1985-1995)<br>・Furano Express (1986-2004)<br>・Tomamu Sahoro Express (1987-2007)<br>・Niseko Express (1988-2017)<br>・Crystal Express (1989-2019)<br>・North Rainbow Express (1989-2023).<br>If you are interested in the above trains, please check them. 😸

  ありがとうございます。500系はもう20年近く前に名古屋から博多まで乗りました。当時最速で見た目もカッコ良かったんですが、あの形状のせいか、車内が狭く感じて圧迫感があったことを覚えています。個人的には500系は「新幹線界のコンコルド」と呼んでいます。この表現は分かりますか？そうは言っても500系はカッコいい車両です。無くなるのは寂しいですね。
