  Actually, as a rookie Marlin Briscoe started in only 4 games (played in 5) and had 14 touchdowns, which stood as a Bronco record until 2024 when B Nix broke the record; and against the Bills threw for 335 yds, a record, until Elway broke that in the early 80s. Marlin be and a leading receiver for the Bills & Dolphins (catching more passes than Paul Warfield in their undefeated season). He was simply an awesome player.

  Bro I’m so happy he brought up Marlin Brisco he’s so underrated from my hometown Omaha Nebraska I would hear stories about him and never understood why the NFL never acknowledged him.

  Even though I've heard the story so many times the falling asleep and waking up and breaking down the play to perfection and then go back to sleep is my favorite Lawrence Taylor story it's such an impactful story about him and really puts him in a class all by himself I love it

  Marlon Briscoe actually played WR for the Dolphins from 72-74 and led the undefeated team in TD catches.

  I was born in 82 and my godfather smoked cherry pipe tobacco and I'm the same as Bill if I ever happen to smell it. Also Bill's right about it being that way right up to the 90's. I started working sacking groceries at a local supermarket at 15 and worked there until I got another job my senior year when I was 18. Anyways I remember people smoking in the store while they were shopping for groceries and that would've been around 97.
