We Brought My OLD HUNTING Spot Back to Life After 20 Years!

Deer season is getting closer, so me, CnB Pops, and CnB Jerell ❤️‍🔥 headed back down to the deer camp to get an early start on our hunting season prep! We stopped in Crockett, Texas, picked up lumber, corn, and two new Tactacam 4.0 cellular cameras, then headed to the property. This trip was special because we went back to one of the very first deer stands I ever built on the property—a spot we hadn’t hunted or even been back to in almost 20 YEARS! The old road was completely grown up, so we had to cut our way back in. Once we made it, we started bringing the old spot back to life. CnB Jerell ❤️‍🔥 cleared young pine trees and opened up the old deer trails while we worked on remodeling the stand. Then we headed over to Pops’ spot. I jumped on Old Blue Boy and cut the grass, and we moved Pops’ feeder to a better location. While Pops was working on the feeder timer, he opened it up and a swarm of wasps came flying out! 😂 Pops got to MOVING! Later that night, CnB Jerell and I headed to Academy in Palestine, Texas, where I picked up a new Game Winner 300-lb feeder for the restored deer stand. We also made our way down to Slocum, Texas, cleaned up another one of my hunting spots, got the feeder running and installed one of the new cellular cameras. I wasn't sure the camera would work because cell service is almost nonexistent in that area, but it surprised me—it's working and sending some great pictures! A big shout-out to SeeSii Power Tools for sending over the die grinder, brushless impact driver and cordless brushless drill for us to try out. Those tools made all the work we tackled this weekend a whole lot easier. We accomplished A LOT on this trip, but getting one of my original deer hunting spots back up and running after nearly 20 years was the highlight for me.
