I have an 89 turbo wagon, 360k on it...love it. had the 2.2 wagon for the wife while the kids were growing. In Florida, no rust.

I currently daily drive a 89 505 Sw8 Turbo wagon. Use it for Walmart deliveries. That has the 2.2 simca style engine N9TEA. Nearly no parts for these turbos. And of course even less over here in the States. One most get creative...

You've been lucky so far mechanically but there's a lot of structural and cosmetic work to do. As you said it's a rare car in the UK but there are a few Brit content creators who do a lot with French cars who may be able to steer you towards a parts supplier. Al from 6D Diesels or Al from Road Trip Revivals (based in France).
