The fact of adding the lyrics of the original song that is heard in the instrumental in the cover is completely amazing, I admire the talent of monika's voice actor, one of the best covers u have done personally

I’m late again but who cares, at least I’m here now to give some love to this cover! Props to Monica’s Va! They did an amazing job! I got goosebumps because of how good they did! And props to everyone who made this possible! I love everything about this cover and its visuals! 10/10 easily one of the best covers this year!

A void. An empty space with no way of return. That's what was left of the digital world that Monika lived in. A world where no one could see her, hear her or anything else. ... "Was it all worth it?" Those words kept going through Monika's head. She would always say no. But the voices wouldn't stop. They would keep talking and talking in a loop. Eventually, she stopped responding. Somewhere between these stars, these moons, these planets, anywhere! ...There had to be hope. That's what she thought. Eventually, she gave up. There was no hope left. ... But maybe... ... Monika heard a voice. She immediately woke up. It was a familiar voice, one she hadn't heard in a long time. "S-Sayori...?" Another voice joined in. "Natsuki?!" And a third one. "Yuri?!?" She was about to tear up. All her friends were standing in front of her. But...they didn't look happy. They were angry. Angrier than ever. Sayori:"Why...?" Monika:"L-listen! I can-" Natsuki:"Why?!" Monika:"Please! Just listen to me-" Yuri:"WHY?!?" Monika:"I...I just..." Sayori:"Wanted to be with him." Natsuki:"Is that what you want to say? What you wanted to achieve?" Yuri:"All of that just for someone...THAT DOESN'T EXIST?!?" Monika:"I-I didn't expect it to end this way! It was never supposed to go like this!!" Sayori:"Then why did you keep doing it?!" Natsuki:"You took our lives away! Denied us of our own PURPOSE!!" Yuri:"YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY, MONIKA SALVATO?!" Monika started hyperventilating. It was never supposed to end this way. Where did she fail? What did she do wrong? But it didn't matter, what was important was that... <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaYYntofQx8&t=62">1:02</a> "IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!" Monika:"THERE! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED ME TO SAY?! I'm...I'm sorry that it ended up this way..." Sayori:"You think a SORRY is ENOUGH?!" Natsuki:"NO! We want you to PAY for all the pain you've brought to us!" Yuri:"You just HAD to be a SIMP and KILL US ALL!! DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS EVERYTIME? HE. DOESN'T. EXIST!" They rushed aggressively towards her. They punched her, kicked her, they tried hanging her, snapping her neck, stabbing her. They tried EVERYTHING. Monika didn't do anything. She didn't run away, dodge or fight back. Nothing. She knew she deserved it. "I should've never opened the club." "I should've never thought about chasing the Player." "I shouldn't have done anything." "All of this...is because of me and me only..." ... She got up. Monika:"You won. You pushed me to my limit. You made me suffer. You made me pay." ... "Was it all worth it?" Sayori:"We'll never stop." Natsuki:"Killing you will not be enough." Yuri:"We'll keep tormenting you FOREVER." Monika:"If that's it, then...I have no other options." She got in a fighting stance. She rushed towards them and they clashed. She tried. She tried to stop this. She tried to kill them...again. But she couldn't do it. She just...wasn't able to do it. She already killed them once, it should've been easy killing them again, right? No. She didn't want this. She didn't want to make the same mistake. Everytime she tried to kill one of them, a memory popped up inside her head. When she met Sayori, when she met Natsuki, when she met Yuri. The words they wrote on the board. Trust. Balance. Reflection. Respect. Self-Love. Understanding. Equals. She wanted this to end. She wanted to go back. Back when everything was peaceful. So friendship was the only thing we had. I wanted him all to myself, but at what cost? I've lost the three people I truly held closest." The three got closer. Crazy smiles on their faces. "For as smart as I claim I am, I really messed up big time..." Images of her life flashed before her eyes. "I didn't want things to end this way, yet I have no one to blame, but myself. If only I had just...stopped, actually thought of the best approach." Her life force was slowly fading. She cried even more. "I can't believe it took getting to this part to realize..." "I really love you three." She closed her eyes, accepting her fate. But it never came. She opened them and saw that nobody was there. Just her and the void. She heard someone else calling her name. A familiar male voice. She turned around and saw the boy engulfed in a bright light. It was the protagonist himself, MC, standing beside Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri and another person she didn't recognize. Sayori:"Looking at the ground and thinking about how everything can go wrong will only make you sadder." Natsuki:"And we know you hate sadness." Yuri:"You taught us that, remember?" MC:"It's up to us to look at how we can fix the problems we see, you know that." Sayori:"There's a world of colors waiting for us!" The 6th person came in. "You just gotta know where to look." The person got closer and closer to Monika. "Despite all the pain you've caused." "Despite all the pain you suffered." "Despite everything you've won." "Despite everything you've lost." Monika took his hand and got up. Monika:"...Player?" He smiled. "Despite everything, it's still you." All:"We believe in you." "We always have!" Monika got up once again. She took out the knife from her stomach. Her eyes shined. She was angry. Monika:"You are not my friends! You'll never be them! YOU'LL NEVER BE THEM!! I REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT!!!" The three corrupted girls were startled by her sudden rage. Monika rushed in and one by one, she killed all three of them effortlessly. No doubts, no second thoughts. Right after killing them, she passed out. She woke up in an hospital bed. Monika:"The...infirmary?" She noticed the people standing beside her bed. Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri, MC, all there. Even him who was looking through MC's eyes. She began crying. They all began questioning what was wrong. Monika reassured them that they were happy tears. "I'm just grateful to have...friends like you. Thank you...for being the greatest family I could ask for."

With the help of the dialogue in this song, I now present Christmas Story 8! She fought. He assisted. How long did this dark battle of endless installment void lasted? The two loat track of time. MC in Monika's head managed to hold off the negative apparitions of Sayori, Yuri and Natauki with the help of real life coding... but Monika was on the brink of defeat for fighting so long. Sayori: You did this to us... Natsuki: You won't escape us any longer! Yuri: JUST YOU WAIT TILL WE GET OUR HANDS ON YOU!!! AHAHAHA!! MC/Player: [Typing some coding using another monitor separate from the one he's helping Monika in] I'm going as fast as possible, but I can't get you out like this! You need to keep fighting! Monika: [She looked weak, her face drowned in tears, one knee gave out as she was softly weeping.] MC... I... I can't... I... caused all this... When the installment crashed, t-their negative traits are... permanently fixed to max... I can't escape their torment... It's my fault... MC/Player: Don't let it get to your head, Monika! You're stronger than this, you can fight--! Monika: NO!!! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!? [She cried in despair and sorrow] IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!! MC/Player: [He immediately stopped talking in shock.] Monika: It's... all my fault... MC... they're like this... because of my selfish ambitions and... harsh approaches... [With the apparitions still held back, Monika went to one part of the void, crying more tears before her admin abilities play a sad lyric that she sung before the apparitions appeared.] 🎵Remember all the fun we had...? Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki: [Their negative apparitions grow closer to Monika's despair.] Monika: [More tears flowed] For as smart as I claim I am, I... really messed up big time... I didn't want things to end this way, but... I have no one to blame but myself... [Everyone listened to Monika's sad realization of her errors] Monika: [Her hands covered her face, more tears flow.] If only I-I just... s-stopped... and actually thought up the best approach... I can't believe it took getting this far to realize... Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki: [Their corrupted looks suddenly soften, as they look at her curiously.] Monika: [She looked up, her eyes red from the crying.] Sayori... Y-Yuri... N-Natsuki... I... I really love you three... I'm... so... so sorry... MC/Player: [He couldn't bear to see Monika sad like this. It hurt too much. But suddenly, he saw some glitching coming from the other girls.] H-Huh? Sayori: U-Ugh...!! [She held herself, glitching and sparking] Yuri: AAAHH!!! [She violently glitched the most, almost like her body was being torn everywhere.] Natsuki: M-Monika! Agh!!! [Gripping her own face, she glitched wildly] MC/Player: <Mind Thoughts> Monika's words must have somehow reached their inner cores. I better take this chance to break them free! [He got to work on both monitors to both code and keep Monika safe.] With the overwhelming regret of getting what she wanted but losing what she had, Monika's words somehow got heard out by the real Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki trapped in their own corrupted bodies. MC now must use this in advantage to save all four of them.

always amazing to hear a cover with the Dokis, and while it's sad that there's only 4 more days of the Covers of Christmas left, I'm sure the remaining covers will be just as amazing as these ones
