As a fan of AB class and massive metallic housing, I was very interested to buy this device, after I saw most reviews about sonic performance are more than positive, although I find design to be quite inappropriate for such a structure. For me, the front panel looks like unfortunate blend of several primary school drawings on subject "I wish my stereo device looks like this". There are six different kinds of knobs and four different textual fonts on single panel. Anyhow, I went to audio store in order to see and touch the device. They only had P80 unpacked, which should be the same from outside. That input selection knob is of such poor quality, too plastic, light and loose. Big volume knob is somehow better, but not substantially. That was, all together, a dealbreaker for me, regardless of sound quality.

While the A-50 is not rated to go below 4 ohms, the Onkyo M-80 is, in-fact, designed to handle dips to 2 ohms.

Im seeing that in Canada it is listed as the A-50B Icon. No mention of streaming services, is this not available in Canada?
