  God, this is fabulous to view!  Redford had a passion for the art of filmaking.  Why not give folks who are into films a chance to succeed and fail without Hollywood interfere?  Redford deserves a lot of credit for Sundance. Thanks for your performances. Rip.

  Fascinating and grounding to watch this now 25years on from when this was recorded in 2001 - given the incredible evolutionary journey in storytelling, digitisation and social media since then. RIP Robert Redford and Thank You for your vision and perserverence.

  So — why isn’t there a Sundance East and a Sundance Southwest and so forth? &nbsp;Who says there can only be one place for this? <br> &nbsp;Getting the funding might not be easy but it would certainly be a good thing to have a Sundance in Taos and a Sundance in the Poconos and a Sundance in the Virginia horse country or the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina . . . . god knows the movie studios and any number of movie stars make enough zillions of dollars to start another one. Hit up a billionaire or two for the money. Ask Bill Gates to do it. Just start. &nbsp;Redford’s gone — he’s not here to do it for you anymore, so get your act together and get busy.

  This organization will be remembered for a way to help creative minds make movies and actors who otherwise would not have been able to create and manifest good films. &nbsp;Sundance is a blessing in nature, abundance, and promotes well being for those who are not heard in the movie industry. &nbsp;Robert Redford helped humanity in a way I&apos;ve never seen before from anyone else in the Hollywood world. &nbsp;He really cared about this nation and the values we hold dear in our hearts. &nbsp;The amount of work he put into Sundance is unbelievable and his heart was all in. &nbsp;Thank you for sharing this 25 year old interview on the 20th anniversary of Sundance, Charlie Rose.❤

  If you read the life history of the young woman that &quot;Boys Don&apos;t Cry&quot; was based on, then you know what an ABSOLUTE dishonest &amp; manipulative script it was. &nbsp;It is a film that should not have been made, and it is not a great recommendation for Sundance at all.
