  You could argue that when Starlight said Twilight and her friends were called away, she didn't mean all of them. Hell, it might not have been the Main 6 at all and she was summoned on a mission with Moondancer and co.

  Sunset and Starlight are two out of five of my favorite mlp characters,so I have to choose an option where these two did canonically meet.

  I&apos;ve always thought that there are a lot of banal friendship problems that we aren&apos;t shown<br>.Maybe the friendship problem was like Rainbow Roadtrip. Something easyfor the six to solve but still needing all six to solve it.

  Maybe starlight just said that twilight and her friends went on a friendship quest bc it would be easier to say than twilight and (for example) rainbow dash went on a friendship quest, because starlight doesn&apos;t know yet, that in the eg world there are the same people, and with saying it happens a lot around here she probably meant friendship quests in general

  I would like to believe that the placement would be between the season 6 finale and the ceremony, allowing for the Changelings to sort themselves out.<br><br>And during that time, Twilight and not ALL of her friends, but some are called to a friendship problem, goving credibility to Rarity&apos;s line in season 7.<br><br>As for Starlight being the only one there, the mane 6 have jobs: Rarity has the boutique, Pinkie has Sugarcube Corner, Rainbow is a Wonderbolt, Applejack has labor at the farm, Fluttershy cares for animals and whatever.<br><br>And it could be that most were called so Starlight would say &quot;Twilight and her friends&quot; instead of &quot;Twilight and her friends minus Applejack&quot; it&apos;s just easier.

Or maybe she assumed they were all called but didn’t know they were not<br><br>Or something similar<br><br>But def a cool video<br><br>And yes EQG is canon, take that haters
