Ricardo, it was good to have you highlighting my community, Troja and its significance in the history of Jamaica's Railway System. I guess it was still there, intact, in the 80's and 90's before heavy vandalism started because people were hoping for its restoration by the Government. In my youthful days, we travelled for miles on these rail ways as shortcut or alternative to the regular road system! Now, in 2026, the metal/steel rails are missing, and people live on these lines. I see where it would be really expensive to resurrect but would definitely be good transport option for the reaching communities. It was also good to be a part of this production. Blessings One Love Fam😄

Thanks for the historical video. I've always heard of the train network through that area growing up, but to actually see it and the guide from someone who grew up there was very interesting and informative. Thanks a lot for highlighting these historical places. Keep up the great work.

The train line put Troja on the map. The Station was an iconic building. They turned it into a library and then neglect caused it to disintegrate. Subsequent governments have no vision because Jamaica is full of history which was never preserved.

Watching from western Canada. There is also a tunnel in Williamsfield St. Catherine. We used to walk to a few tunnels from Riversdale to Facey district where my father had farm lands. Very interesting videos., brings back childhood memories.
