과거 대우트럭은 지금까지 엔진 자체제작을 하지 않았습니다. 과거 대우그룹 계열에 대우중공업으로 부터 인연이 된 두산인프라코어 지금에 현대 인프라코어까지 이 회사에 엔진들을 받아다 조립했고 다른 외산엔진들도 사서 쓰고 있습니다.
