I was a teenage pitcher in Windsor, across from Detroit. Every game, there came the time when I said to myself, "Okay, Justin here I come !", and I became unhittable. My idol never let me down. Never !

I was at the game in 2011 where he got 14 strikeouts. Easily the best pitching performance I've ever seen in person. And I got to watch his final performance. Even I got emotional, I basically grew up watching him. Congratulations on an incredible career JV. See you in Cooperstown

He gave up 4 runs against the Cards in game one I think the winning runs were produced by Albert Pulos .
