  I didn’t know you lost your girl. I’m so sorry and I lost my pitty girl almost 3 years ago and I still burst into tears sometimes when I think of her. We are all so lucky to have dogs and I really got to say, as soon as you are ready! Get another one! The way your world and their world getting better when you come together is the best!

  Mt Charleston is nice too. 40 min away from Vegas. Especially if your there in the summer time

  Yes Miranda, love to see more outings like this were you go out in popular cities and show what adventurous things can be done in that area! Also would appreciate some information on heights temperature, distance and other important info on the actual hike! Thanks!

  For your viewers: The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has a timed entry reservation system for the fee area from October 1 through May 31. If you don't get in, there are lots of beautiful hiking trails outside of the fee area. You can go to Calico Basin, which is right on the other side of the red rock formations you see inside the fee area at Calico 1 and 2. You can also continue on the highway past the entrance to the fee area, and find several nice hiking trails on the other side.

  I'm sad you didn' t  visit Valley of Fire State Park! It's got some gorgeous hiking, and it's a beautiful drive north along Lake Mead from the Dam.

  I used to hike and climb in Red Rock Canyon long before it was as developed as it is now. Back then you didn't have nearly the crowds that visit now, and other than the road, no real infrastructure. You could climb all around and not see anyone else. We got ourselves into some fairly sticky situations at times but always found a way out. We also used to hike down to what is now known as the Gold Strike hot springs. Again, long before it got well known. In fact, if you didn't know where the road to the trailhead was you'd never find it. We would also continue past the pools and all the way down to the Colorado river where we could just see a corner of Hoover Dam upstream. Great memories.

  Really sucks to lose an animal.  I lost two in six months and it hits you too hard.  I will not get another dog, but still cherish the memories of them.

  The sign needs to be higher, closer to the palm tree leaves. Then 2 more trees lower to frame the sign. Just say'n.  😊
