  This speculative evolution scenario of humans coexisting with non-extinct dinosaurs is absolutely fascinating! Breaking down survival odds across the suburbs, deep woods, open water, and watering holes made so much sense.   I think assuming that humans would evolve in the same way with dinosaurs being extinct, as them not being extinct is one unreal factor of this narrative.  Humans evolved to deal with the hazards and trials that were current for them.  Humans would have developed different architecture, weapons and behavior to deal with dinosaurs, as they did to deal with saber toothed tigers and mammoths.  For instance, if there were raptors running around, humans would have thought of ways to exterminate them before they would go out jogging.  It is part of human history that they have eliminated threats that would slow or threatened their evolution.

  I would assume that humans would have evolved, if humans ever did evolve at all in the first place, to deal with these dinosaurs if they never went extinct.
