The lake thing made me remember how they would drown the women accused of being witches, if they died they were normal women and if they lived they were witches/demons. It’s disgusting they did that :(

Not even into the ghost part and I have to stop to say: Thank you to Jay for being so open and vulnerable about mental health and loss.

As someone who is incredibly intrested in folklore, I'd like to drop this here:

In some iterations of the Banshee's lore, the Banshee can be women who passed in child birth or who lost (either accidentally or intentionally) their babies. I just found it intriguing that you got 'Banshee' and then later when talking to the woman she came through with information that she 'lost' her baby.

Seeing kris break down like that made me tear up. But having celina be such an amazing, supportive, protective friend is just so heartwarming.

Kris, I’m genuinely so sorry about whatever you are going through right now. We’re all here for you, and your family member will love you anywhere they are, even beyond. You have proved that their spirit remains with us and you’ll be okay.

49:07 I didn't see anyone in the comments talking about this, but I have a theory: I took frech in school and I think it's possible, that they meant "eau" (water) instead of "au" (at). It sounds really similar when you pronounce both words and you can only really tell them apart whith context or when you see it written and since it is an ai that writes the words out and the context is missing, there could have been a simple spelling mistake and they really ment: "water, hidden, injustice".

The story of a woman in white who may have murdered her own baby in a bath tub, and continues to wail like a banshee in the afterlife, looking for her baby, sounds like La LLorona, a classic Mexican folk story. Some believe it's actually a phenomenon, rather than one single ghost. Like all women who kill their own children and then take their own life are resigned to an afterlife of wailing and looking for the child they killed.

I LOVE how protective Kris is with Celina. First she put her arm to stop her because a car was driving by, and next she stops her from walking towards the water. I mean, every good friend would do the same, but the first time got me and it just shows how important Celina is to Kris, idk
