  Hi Daniel,<br>A quick poor man&apos;s solution to the bloody dangerous &amp; annoying lane keeping / swerving issues as well as the emergency braking is to blank off the cameras&apos; view.<br>Slipping some black cardboard sheet up between the inside of the windshield and the camera console works a treat.<br>You&apos;ll get a dashboard warning to clean your windshield near the cameras &nbsp;for a few seconds every 5 minutes or so, but will have full manual control of your steering and braking. You do also miss out on the speed sign detection feature, but that&apos;s an easy trade off.<br><br>To test the concept put some black duct tape on the outside of the windscreen over the cameras. It will sit in the wipers path but it&apos;s a quick demo of what to expect with the cardboard.

  I had a &apos;21 D-Max from new very similar to yours and agree with most of your comments. <br>I sold it last year and bought a late model VX LC200.<br>Best move ever.

  Love the new Decal on the canopy Daniel, where did you have that done - looks sick! Cheers for the run thru, very comprehensive, nice and honest. Loved it. The tips on vehicle protection are really helpful, Drive safe, have fun, enjoy life! 👌👍🍻

  Great video Daniel, I went from a 2014 triton to a 2025 dmax base model and couldn&apos;t be happier, I use for towing mainly but is set up with a canopy to do overnighters away from the van,my first auto 4wd &nbsp;and dont think i would go back to a manual now😂👍

  Great video yet again.<br>My 2012 Colorado is very similar in a few ways to your DMax.<br>I get a better fuel economy at 10.2l/100km and it’s loaded with all my camping and touring gear.<br>I didn’t get a GVM upgrade however it is lifted 2” with Bilstein front shocks and Kings heavy duty springs and the rear has 300+ constant springs and Ironman Foamcell shocks. It ride and handles beautifully.<br>I recently replaced the clutch and flywheel etc but I was advised to stick with the dual mass unit. This was to protect the 5speed transmission from vibration damage. Yes it was more expensive but at least I won’t need to replace the transmission any time soon.<br>The motor is the 2.8l yellow cap variant which I find is powerful enough for my needs. I too connected a throttle controller to make it more comfortable to drive without the lag.<br>It doesn’t have an LSD or diff lock and so far a haven’t really needed one however I am contemplating fitting a diff lock in the future. Meanwhile I have a winch to get me out of trouble if needed.<br>I’ve driven later model vehicles with all the latest technologically and frankly I’m glad that my Colorado doesn’t have it!<br>If I was going to upgrade again (from my previous 2002 Hilux) I would definitely like one the same as yours.<br>I have enjoyed watching what you’ve put yours through and I hope the journey continues!
