  It takes real humility, meekness, and work to be able to find joy in our sufferings and our trials. &nbsp;But it can be done. And in that, we can be truly happy. Thanks for the insights into Psalms this week.

  When my 18 year old son died by suicide the Lord blessed me. The morning we were going to make the funeral arrangements I woke up with the hymn “Cast thy Burdens Upon the Lord” running through my mind and I recalled all the words. That was a sweet message to me that I wasn’t going through this alone. That was the first time in my life when I knew, &nbsp; really knew my Savior loves me as &nbsp;He carried me through those difficult days.So that Psalm is very dear to my heart!

  My passion is setting the scriptures to song. Enjoyed the discussion of Psalm 51. <br><br>Here&apos;s my modern song version of Psalm 51:<br><br>Have mercy on me, O God, <br>Through Your unfailing love;<br>By Your tender mercies,<br>Blot out my transgressions.<br><br>Wash away my iniquity, <br>And cleanse me from my sin.<br>Purify me, and I will be clean:<br>I will be whiter than snow.<br><br>Let me hear joy and gladness; <br>Let the broken rejoice.<br>Hide Your face from my sins, <br>And blot out all my iniquities.<br><br>Create in me a pure heart, O God; <br>Renew a steadfast spirit in me.<br>Restore to me the joy of your salvation;<br>And grant me a willing spirit.<br><br>Deliver me from guilt, O God, <br>You are the God of my salvation.<br>Open my lips, O Lord,<br>And my mouth will declare your praise.<br><br>You do not delight in sacrifice; <br>My sacrifice is a broken spirit.<br>O God, you will not despise<br>A broken and contrite heart.

  Sometimes the easiest way to define a term is to look at it&apos;s opposite. The opposite of a broken heart is a hard heart. A hard heart won&apos;t allow the Spirit to enter. So, a broken heart can best be defined as a heart that allows and wants the Spirit&apos;s to enter and influence.

  &quot;&quot;In You, O Lord, I trust!&quot; Beautiful! The study of the Psalms has me looking at new ways to praise the Lord in all things every day. I love this so much, and I would love to hear one of the Psalms sung in Hebrew by the good Rabbi Joe. Thank you for teaching me a new Hebrew word, &quot;Tehillah.&quot; May all the songs I sing at church be sung with this new feeling of praise!

  Bom poder ouvir o rabino Joe explicar a confiança no Senhor na sua crença , cada vez aumenta e se aproxima de casa ao contrário do que parece estar se afastando ou se isolando na verdade se aproximar de Deus torna o foco para cima. <br>Bom cantar Salmos e poder louvar a Deus.
