The best carry gun is the one you practice/train with, goes bang every time, most comfortable for you.

My wife has the Walter and after a few thousand rounds, it started jamming and taking shavings off the casings fouling the rails. We sent it in for repair. Walter sent it back with a new slide assembly and new barrel. No charge. Works great. Now that's customer service!

I had a Ruger P95 that I put 26.650 rounds thru before I had an issue. The extractor broke, I sent it beck to Ruger they fixed it for free and put in a new barrel. No status but they sure work!

I have the Canik Mete MC9 and the S&W Bodyguard 2.0.  No issues with either one.

My Canik MC9 is a few years old, well over 1000 rounds of all sorts of ammo.  It has never failed to cycle, fire, or eject.

I'm a U.S. Recon Marine vet who carried a 1911 in Vietnam and also did well with it, in Service Pistol Matches. If I knew i was headed to a gunfight, that is the only sidearm I would carry...But, for my purposes today, I have fallen in love with my Colt model 1873 Single Action Army in .45 long colt as my everyday open carry sidearm here in Florida, it just feels so good in my hand and while I cowboy carry with the trigger chamber open, which means I only have five rounds, I always hit what I put the front sight on so five is four more rounds then I need.

I bought a Bersa Thunder .380 at a gunshow.  It was nickel with walnut grips.  I took it to the range and fed it a variety of ammo without a single hiccup.  I think I've fired at least 1000 rounds and never...ever...had a single malfunction of any kind.  It's relatively small, light and the recoil is easily managed.  I know that some of you are turning up your noses at the .380...but I bet not one of you would want to get hit with one.  I carry it...never fired in anger although displayed once which was enough to deter the bad guys (three of them).  My buddy bought a Walther P99QA which had multiple failures right out of the box.

Putting the Glock 43X in the C-tier category because of owners removing OEM parts and adding aftermarket parts isn’t a fair grade. All Glocks are engineered to perform at optimal performance. The problem is people and aftermarket companies thinking they’re better at reengineering a OEM Glock. The Glock 43X now comes with OEM 15 Rd Mags.

In my view: Glock 19, Glock 43x, HELLCAT, Smith & Wesson MP, VP9SK, and last CC9. There is still not enough time to rank the CC9. Unfortunately, the Reflex still has issues to work out. It’s new and customers are the test fires. 😮
