  I could destroy the puffy jacket trend tomorrow if I wanted: I could buy one. Literally everything I buy becomes unfashionable moments after I purchase it.

  Having lived 5 decades, jeans and pants have gone from tight to baggy to slim to wide to skinny to loose to bell and now I dont care anymore.

  This is why you don't throw out your old clothes. Recently needed some new clothes to wear and dug up some boxes in my parents basement and found a bunch of baggy clothes that are in but better quality than the clothes sold nowadays

  the truest thing i learned from a teacher is fashion repeats itself about every 20 years more or less. Skinny Jeans will be back in once everyone has baggy fatigue.

  “Fashion”, whether it’s about clothing or anything else, is a cancer. Aesthetics is important, but replacing functional items just because they’re “out” is the worst invention of our times. Having them made in a poor quality is even worse. They won’t sell. They land in waste… Money wasted!
