  A "NOT SO ORDINARY ADVENTURE"  as it turned out! I'm just glad you were both safe been watching the news over here in the UK and THE LAST TIME I saw devastation on the scale the Ian brought to Florida was when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans (made worse by the levys breaching)  I'm sure eventually Florida and Floridians will recover they are resilient! R.I.P to those that lost their lives in Florida to this hurricane and my thoughts and prayers go out from over the Atlantic in the UK to their families and friends at such a devastating time 😢

  One thing Disney did which is very smart is that they built Disney World knowing it was in hurricane country. So the buildings are built to withstand these storms. Thank you for the update! So glad you all are okay.

  Travelling from Australia and then caught up in Hurricane Irma Disney were amazing to us after our Disney cruise was cancelled extending our stay . A huge branch crashed into the resort room door and a Disney emergency crew were straight onto it we can't speak more highly of all the amazing cast members . They made our adventure memorable and our sons experience magical even in a Hurricane💙💙💙  Our hearts go out to everyone throughout Florida and the East coast ..

  I’m so moved by how much Disney and their wonderful CMs went out of their way to make all their guest comfortable and safe! Bravo Disney, wow!! Thanks for sharing this❤

  This continues to be one of my favorite YouTube channels. Peter and Kitra just seem like genuinely nice people. I live in Daytona Beach and my surrounding neighborhoods were flooded pretty bad. I hope every one in Florida stays safe and thank you Ordinary Adventures for the content through these rough times.

  OMG!!! LOL!!! I love watching people who have never been to Florida during a hurricane deal with my madness every year during the storm season!! LMAO!!! Love you guys, and you did great. Sorry about everything being gone, but I guarantee those shelves were empty long before you got there. We stocked up at the house before Ian at least 10 days before the storm was even close.

  New fan here! I was also taking a Disney vacation when hurricane Ian hit and I was very impressed with how Disney handled everything. My family has never experienced a hurricane so we were a bit nervous but we felt very safe at our resort (Pop Century Resort). We actually planned this vacation to celebrate my nephew's birthday so I really appreciated the cast members and characters for putting on dance parties, trivia, games, and sing alongs for the kiddos. They also provided us with flashlights, batteries, and some other useful items to prepare for the hurricane. My family and I were extremely thankful for their service.

  Thank you for the update! I’m planning on coming down next week to see my grandma and spend some time at the resorts. What a challenge that must be for the cast members to stay positive when they are surely concerned about their own homes and families, but glad to see all the kids having fun.
