  Y&apos;all, this episode is BEAUTIFULLY shot and edited!! The slo-mo of the mariachi dancers, the shot of the mickey balloon while walking, and the shot of Kitra in the maze with the water going overhead are all DELIGHTFUL!

  Beignet in French translates simply to donut / doughnut. So unfortunately, whilst disappointing that it’s not like the New Orleans delicacies, there’s no false advertising there. On a positive note I loved these DLP vids, you’re both so full of joy and magic ❤️

  The crow statue at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmkGbJECpxI&amp;t=1481">24:41</a> you filmed fun little fact Tony Baxter designed that statue for the castle and while it looks like a normal statue he designed a secret to it. If you take a photo with the flash turned on the eyes will reflect back a red light from its eyes giving a cool secret effect to your photo, it’s such a cool hidden detail that most people don’t know

  The Nautilus is one of my all time favourite Imagineering sleight of hand tricks. Using something as simple as a well placed spiral staircase they disorient guests enough that 99% of people totally buy that they are going inside the ship in the lagoon instead of (spoilers) a cleverly concealed show building. It&apos;s so clever.

  No shade but I think the lack of flavour in the chocolate brookie is because it probably contains less sugar than you&apos;re used to. Cocoa by itself is more like a &apos;spice&apos;, it&apos;s not sweet by itself.

  Poffertjes are Dutch. We eat them on a plate with butter on top, which melt because of the heat from the poffertjes. And of course powdered suger.

  Back in the early ’60s, Disneyland had an incredible 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea walk-through attraction in Tomorrowland. It was like the Paris version, but honestly even better. You’d explore actual sets from the movie—diving suits, the charthouse, the wheelhouse—and there were two massive water tanks serving as viewports where you could see the full-scale Nautilus resting beneath the waves. The highlight? A giant squid that actually moved! All of this with the film’s haunting score playing in the background. For a young boy, it was pure magic. I wish they still had it today.
