  As a person who lives in tornado alley, friendly reminder to get a weather radio!! It is best practice to have at least 2 ways to get alerts in case your phone is dead/cell signal goes out.

  Japan&apos;s Earthquake early warning is so fascinating. All TVs are required to be able to accept a special morse code signal that powers the TV on and forces it to display the warning to make sure everyone even if they&apos;re asleep they can be warned. I think we absolutely have this in the US, doubly so in Tornado Alley.
