Best part of this is still 0:22 when he uses Maarva's brick to bash an Imperial in the head. Maarva would have been so proud to see her brick used like that

Someone pointed out in another comment section. This sequence brilliantly displays the Empires mistakes. They miscalculated this entire event. They were here to only capture 2 Rebels, 2 Fugatives, displaying power and strength all to catch these 2 people. Yet they failed to see the Rebellion brewing right in front of them. Maarva was just a catalyst, this rage had been brewing in these people for a looooong time. The Empire failed to see the forest through the trees, and by the time they finally understood what situation they were in it was too late.

2 Rebels turned into 200 Rebels, with the potential of an entire new planet to join the Rebel Alliance. Whoops, have fun informing Palpatine of that.

I LOVED how this show made us actually fear storm troopers and made them actually appear somewhat dangerous and competent. Afterall they are the equivalent of an army soldier, at a riot 😭

I love how this actually took stormtroopers seriously. Sure they miss some shots, but they make up for it by hitting a lot of good shots, and I don't expect them to be marksmen like Crosshair or whatever.

I love the detail that the Imperials only start using deadly force once that IED was thrown into their vicinity. That's when they realized that this was going to be a way more serious situation than they anticipated.

What I loved about andor and rogue one was that they took the war between the empire and rebels very seriously. They showed actual military tactics and planning. I know other Star Wars movies and shows also did it. But these two had no direct involvement with the Jedis or Sith. It was just everyday people deciding to finally stand up to tyranny. The prison arc was my favorite.

Wow the empire actually being scary in Disney Star Wars. It’s almost like that’s what they were always supposed to be

While not shown here I really love the scene where Luthen stares at what is happening, taking it all in. He did not expect it, he did not plan it. And it happened anyways. The first true rebellion with all of it's consequences laid bare in front of him.

One detail I really like is how young Tigo looks compared to his subordinate.
Tigo is ostensibly the higher-ranked officer, but he makes a lot of rookie mistakes while his subordinate is keeping a level head and doing all he can to de-escalate the situation. It's like we're seeing the rotten foundation of the Empire seeping through.
The older officials seem to be the pragmatic type while the younger ones are more seeped in the Sith Social Darwinian philosophy, almost like it's saying the Empire's dying at such a young age.
