Ive had customers like that. They wanna tell you their life story so bad they dont realize how distracting they are. I would have told him to take a walk 5 minutes in. You are the multitask king. Good work.

It’s so hard to focus on troubleshooting when someone is constantly talking to you. You are a saint with so much patience. I did HVAC service for over 40 years and so glad that it was mostly commercial/industrial work :>) .

AC repair $100 an hour. If you talk to me constantly while I am working it’s $150. If you help $175. If you worked on it first $275 an hour.

I lived in a rented condo with a chilled water loop. I work tech with chillers all day and I didn't know loops were used in residential. The A/C in my condo didn't work worth s*it! I thought it was cold air from the roof down. I didn't think of looking for a local compressor and seeing if it was working 😥
