  First and foremost… I misspelt “please” 😂 thank you for your patience with my lack of uploads!<br><br>re: the work in this episode, a LOT is still yet to be needed on the pieces fabricated, cutting the passenger side “box” down in height so it slots in perfectly without splaying the new piece, backfilling the radius gap made to meet the chassis on the drivers side leg.<br><br>If anyone has some measurements to share I welcome this so I can smash &amp; finish this chassis to move on ☺️

  I have a 1972 S3 109 diesel. &nbsp;Front legs have been replaced in the past. Spring bolt holes centre to centre is 35&quot;, front bolt hole to the floor is 16&quot; and rear 18 1/8&quot;. The car is sitting on a reasonably flat concrete driveway. Another measurement I took was eyeball the bottom of the chassis from the front and the centre of the bolt hole is 1 1/4&quot; below. Hope this is useful and keep up the good work.

  Do a tradition coach paint job on it. Rolland tip method with enamel paints from Paintman paints in the UK. All the traditional Land Rover paints in stock. A suitable paint job for a 500£ series. Cheap and cheerful.

  Doesn’t matter how long you leave it as long as you go back to it in the end. Just keep going at it bit by bit, you’ll get there! My series 1 chassis has been out on the drive for months- The new welded metal is blending nicely into the original rusty metal! 😂

  If you have limited space under cover purchase a gazebo something like 4x4 or 5x5 meter. Something you can collapse and move to wherever you need it
