  My father took me to the Mighty Men of Valour event. We had seats further up in the stadium seating, and during the whole intense tank show part he leaned over and said “I don’t think these are men of god, they’re more like A-Team carnies.” Both him and the other people around us seemed disappointed by the whole over the top shenanigans, and I think a lot of other people throughout the whole crowd felt the same, that’s why there probably wasn’t a lot of enthusiasm. That and the just massive amount of smoke and fog made it feel like we were being gassed, so that was fun. The tank though? Cool as fucking shit. I think that goes without saying. Did it bring me closer to god? Not at all.
