  Moral of the story: if you are a DA stay single forever, do not marry and have kids, do not get into relationships with people whose lives you will destroy.  You will never take accountability or responsibility for the destruction you are bringing to someone's life.  Hopefully you will realize what you are and spare anyone the hell you will put them through. You are the kind of person that will never seek the help you need for the broken down circus you call your life because of your massive ego. You will only surround yourself with people that will pacify you and tell you it's not your fault it's" their" loss. You are emotionally stunted in a bad way.  And while the person you discarded like a bloody tampon is picking up the pieces of the life you destroyed, you're kicking back having a great time...I hope DA's read this and take this advice because they are not worth anyone's time. I don't care what you've been through as a child. We have ALL been through childhood trauma and as a fkn adult you take responsibility for yourself by getting counseling.

  Been there, done it. Run, go no contact permanently, don't look back, and maintain or regain your self worth. Go to attachment style based counseling, hypnotherapy, and do shadow work religiously. Know that it isn't about your self worth, but about their behavior and character. Take it as a learning experience and be aware in the future. Take self satisfaction that you live rent free in their head. Its not their fault, but its not yours either.

  I went silent. They started texting me hinting about getting together but never committing to anything. I play along. I say, yes, sounds great then let it go and never mention it again just as they do. I will not attempt to set date just so they can say no as they always do. They are probably getting a bit flustered. I will not chase them anymore as they expect.

  Relationships are hard but worth it. Seriously, it's a skill I never developed. It's important to know why someone may create distance from fear not from lack of interest. That's when you back off and let them come to you. Something I could never do before now. You have to. Can't make someone love you.

  im a fearful avoidant and i dumped my ex.  I'm very happy she didn't message because shes done in my book.  Banished.  Your idea of reverse psychology is a game in itself.  Stop playing games, and suggesting them to resolve another game with a game.
