  It's hard to be in a relationship with an avoidant person. Most especially if your married and with kids. It's suffocating and drowning with loneliness. It's like having a wall as partner. The sad part, you also loose interest and love is fading.

  This is so sad, I’m 6 months in with no contact at all, I had to set my boundaries finally he will need to come at me right, I will not reach out and will remain silent!

  Wondering the same. Never met a man so emotionally absent and physically unavailable in my life.<br>He’s just distracting himself on dating sites. I can tell from his social media. Anyway, I’m dating and keeping myself well distracted too. I’m not waiting anymore

  This is very true for me now that I&apos;m out of this sad chaotic relatiinship &nbsp;. Its now 11 months that I got my power back and out my emotions and love on myself

  There is also one other option.<br>Hard truth.<br>They never really cared or loved you, and they don&apos;t care after the end of the relationship either.

  PTSD is real, and honestly, my heart is broken. My wife left just two days ago, and she’s already seeing someone else. What hurts the most is that she doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore. I still love her, and I can’t stop wishing things could go back to how they were.

  Fearful‑avoidants don’t respond to games. They respond to emotional safety. If disappearing creates safety, they may re-engage, but if your disappearing feels like abandonment, they may shut down further. &nbsp;It depends on the person, the bond, and the context. &nbsp;This is not a universal rule that works in all situations.
