The only examples I can really think of to throw in are SNCF Class 242 A1, Schools Class, and Russian Class P36.

And not even a mention of the LNER/BR A4s - the fastest steam engines in the world - and over half of these 10 are US steam engines. You would think they invented them!!

What about the leader class?

All those locos didn't overcome the steam engine handicap. The need for large amounts of water.

AT TIME 2:03, YOU WRONGLY SHOWED TGE MILWAUKEE ROAD HIAWATHA CLASS F7, 4-6-4 Hudson, but called the "BALTIC", on the HIAWATHA; WITH 6 BUILT BY ALCO IN 1938. WITH 84" D. driving wheels and easily capable of 120 M.P.H., and pull 15 coaches and diners, and Pullman sleepers from Chicago to Milwaukee and Minneapolis to Saint Paul, in state of Minnesota next to the North Mississippi River, O.K.!!!!! But sadly 😥 all 6 of the 4-6-4's were Scrapped and destroyed in the 1950s, when EMD, and FAIRBANKS-MORSE Diesels arrived.

The first picture of a QJ you show...is not a QJ. You show a 2-8-2...QJ is a 2-10-2 !
