  She speaks so eloquently and has such a calm, soothing voice!<br>I finished &apos;The Stationary Shop&apos; last night and I loved it. I think Marjan writes beautifully and definitely took me on a journey as I felt for every character, particularly Roya. Looking forward to reading more of Kamali&apos;s novels.

  I am so happy to say I am now reading the The Stationery Shop and I am loving IT.<br>I look forward to read More of You Marjan.<br>I have also begun the Together Tea but I have decided to complete T.S.S first.<br>I also like listening to Marjan talking.<br>Wish you would write More.<br>All the Best.

  Just finished Together Tea,my face still smeared with Tears.What a Journey.I really connected with this Book its characters,images,colours,emotions etc etc.<br>I feel light now.This Cathartic effect very therapeutic for me.i travelled in my past remembering,reminiscencing,savouring the memories as this book facilitates this conscious as well as subconscious process.<br>The Love Dreams,wishes of Mothers...<br>The Intangibility of life and its vagueness,its everything and nothing making life something absolutely Precious,a jewel a treasure.Marjan Kamali How can I Thank you.<br>I did not get to Thank my Dad on his dying bed,nor my mother as she lay there unconscious.Those were people that deserved Oceans and Oceans of Thanks Gratitudes.<br>And God as well,I am a Strong Believer in God,Allah.<br>Looking forward to the next Journey.<br>A traveller of nowhere,anywhere and everywhere.

  I cant carrying on listening I have to stop now so that I can switch on to purchase this Book.A book by its cover goes to my Heart like an Arrow.<br>Always Idealist,Always A Dreamer.No less an Incorrible Romantic.<br>There goes!!!

  I find Marjan such a sympathetic person,I so love her american accent which by the way I have always found very articulating.The price of this book is quoted by amazon as 39 pounds.!!!<br>But I know before I close my eyes for Ever I must This Book Read.Lost Love Life resonates with me so so closely...

  It feels like two women sitting in a kitchen discussing someone&apos;s privacy.<br>It would be Great if they had discussed it as a piece of the sophisticated genre of literature.

  I just finished reading The Stationery Shop of Tehran, and honestly, I found it quite underwhelming. The story felt very clichéd, and the writing often seemed forced. Once the narrative moves out of Tehran, the pacing doubles, and the story feels rushed—too much happens too quickly. I found myself skimming through sections just to keep up, and much of the plot could have been skipped without losing understanding.<br><br>Zari’s strong presence in the early chapters loses its essence somewhere along the way. There’s no mention of what actually happened in Tehran with Maman and Baba, and the political disturbances completely lose focus as the book progresses. Life for the two sisters after moving abroad is barely explored, which makes the later chapters feel hollow.<br><br>Marigold’s death and the surrounding events felt unrealistic, and Patricia’s sudden change of heart came across as contrived. Badri’s mental health struggles were filtered entirely through Bahman’s perspective, rather than explored as her own fully realized story, which was disappointing. Overall, the book didn’t engage me the way I had hoped.<br><br>Rating: 5/10
