I am reading the Lion women of Tehran,still at the 13 chapter,shedding some hot tears and really looking forward to move on.<br>I readThe Stationery Shop of Tehran and Together Tea which I greatly deeply enjoyed.<br>I really love Marjan Kamali and really enjoyed her interviews,she is so natural spontaneous,expressive obviously.<br>It is just so sad that the History of Iran is so full of hardships.<br>Yet what a Great civilisation myths,culture,traditions colours and shades...

I really enjoyed this book. I've been following the current war and listening to younger Iranians that didn't live during the 1979 revolution. They seem to put a lot of the blame on the West. I lived in Isfahan in '77 for a short time and remember it differently. We in the US had a good relationship with Iran. But living there, I saw the tide turning with the large muslim population, I was not always treated well as an American. This book goes thru the history of that time in the way I remember. I thank the author for the story in many ways.
