This topic is the one that I've waited for Bernardo to discuss for years, as a long term Theravada Buddhist practitioner. Looking forward to the next book!

I hope Bernardo Kastrup's project succeeds, because he is a very intelligent and hard-working person, I don't know how he has time to read so much. He is capable of learning new and innovative things, he is creative. I admire his skills. I'm not a good example to speak of, perhaps. He is brilliant in denying metaphysical materialism, although I understand Federico Faggin better. My intuition and my intellectual capacity (which is little) do not allow me to say that analytical idealism is a satisfactory metaphysical hypothesis. That explains my experience of being alive and convinces me. In any case, Bernardo has a very important presence among intellectuals, including those most linked to metaphysical materialism, because he is respected by them (with good reason). The first few times I heard Bernardo hás changed my way of thinking. I am very grateful to Bernardo. I'm Portuguese and I live in Portugal.

Thank you so much for bringing some attention to the immense almost unfathomable amount of suffering going on within the animal agriculture "business".
This is so often overlooked whenever describing worldwide atrocities 🙏💞

Bernardo, Hermano querido, it's all me and mine. Me, me, me, mine, mine, mine... I was born that way. OMG, so pulled into pieces of my Self by the world. I loved it all with passion. Watched people and felt them through their gate, the way they held themselves and moved. I could watch people do sport and feel their muscles so, by watching I could gain coordinative abilities from and through co-sentience with (purported) others. I literally had to learn to be something separate, and I'm a hermit because I feel others so intensely. It quickly gets overwhelming. Dying by way of head trauma at 20 (1978) didn't change that. Revisiting my own life in immersive flashback, feeling and perceiving as myself and as everyone involved during the life review, it only made me more co-sentient. Also, while I was in the Lustrous Vast of Quantum Imminence, I realized a sensory modality of which I had previously been (metacognitively) unaware: I can "taste" (in the same way olfaction reads a chemical/energetic signature of a molecule) the energetic signatures of most individuations so, on an unverbalized level, I can read their frequency signatures--by the way their field echoes through my own. How do you account for such an "pan-associative" state?

Awareness is nested and hierarchical, and we move through the layers as a function of how broadly we can cast and retune our Attention (which is our wings). There is an Awareness that did/does the imaginative work that holds this world together as a venue in which other Individuations can visit and interact. Individuations mostly think they are all seeing the same world that appears to be "out there." But they're not (It's all very subjectively different for each.) and there is no world "out there," because there is no "out." There is Consciousness Itself, conscious of Its Self, and Thou art that, beloved. You are not your mind--as beautifully as you have constructed it, and it is a magnificent model--but You, Consciousness, have said, it attacks Your peace. You say "I torment myself" which clearly indicates You are UNconsciously Identified with Your mind. If You Observe this then You must realize Your True Self as The Observer, and Architect, of Your mind--which is Your tool. You are very good at Interrogating Your mind/model--but You need to Observe Your self in the act of this many, many times. ("Here I Am, interrogating my own mind/model, like the brilliant scientist I Am.") Identify as that Observer. Ask, "What am I saying to/teaching myself (putting in my model)? Is it true in all cases, or is it a story (with which I am secretly identified and which robs me of power/joy)? Most importantly, Is it serving my bliss, my accomplishment of what I came here to do?"

You gave/give Your mind all the power it has to torment You--but so long as You Identify with the story (and the, seemingly, disempowered, character it creates) You do not Observe Your True Self as Sovereign of the mind/model You create. You are the god of all Your own reckonings. Seize that power bit by bit increasing Lucidity, by acting, in all things, as The Interrogator and Architect of all You allow Your mind to say to You. When You Observe that much of Your self-talk is but a story that is full of half truths ("beLIEfs") all the power You gave that untrue self-talk to torment You comes back to You--because You see through it. Do this exercise repeatedly and, each time, Observe Your self in the act.

Likewise anxiety. It is a neurochemical event cascade you have rehearsed so many times that it is easily triggered and runs through terrible bodily experiences--and it gets every bit of its power over You from Your ATTENTION to it. When that cockroach thought scutters through your mind saying "Something terrible is about to happen unless you..." do not give it a second glance with Your Observer Eye. Indeed, do some math--anything that cognitively challenges You, and be engrossed in it, and the neurochemical event cascade collapses and runs a briefer and briefer course. You replace the maladaptive chemical event cascade with a Lucidly induced focus of Attention on something that challenges and engages You. I use a technique I learned while coming through SSRI withdrawals Hell and which I call Imagifestation. Briefly, you project your attention into a VR environment which You, by Your Will, imagine intensely in every sensory modality, to be all around you. It's some work at first but, the more you do this, the easier you can see/hear/smell an entire environment. It will likely unfold then for You as it has for "Me": I went into my construct venue and it was all self-animated. There were things therein that were not my own imaginative "work."

Make it a place you love--like that little village in Germany--and Imagifest yourself into it with Your Attention. You are, in so doing, Lucidly choosing what experience You have by how You use Your Attention. (This is the only way anyone ever goes anywhere, BTW.) Replace engaging Your Attentional resources on anxiety thoughts in order to short circuit the attack intervals until you stop having anxiety attacks at all. I haven't had one since 11/2021. By Imagifesting in this way, You are essentially building in mindspace a freestanding, self-animated, energetic structure and, because there IS no separation, other Awarenesses can access it, if they are in energetic resonance. It's all about energetic resonance. The Fiddler so loves a well-tuned instrument.

Now, speaking of The Fiddler, your self-talk about your relationship with your Daemon is full of beLIEfs that sabotage You. Your Daemon loves you. He swore to you that he would see to it you accomplished what you came here, where there is so much unnecessary suffering, to do. He swore that, no matter how you hated him for the conditioning you would endure to serve your own higher ends, he would endure whatever to make sure that, when your body falls off and you see each other again with Your True eyes, he will see gratitude and appreciation in your gaze--not the eyes that say "You failed me." He made a vow to You which you cannot recall because you have not dragged it across the venue frequency cline using Lucidity. By Lucidity, we wield our Wills to focus Attention in order carry awareness across the frequency barriers between dream venues--and they are all but dreams. The Truth is Unity. Everything else is but dreams of separation--dissociation. The most relevant question then, is, how Lucidly are You dreaming? Only a Lucid dreamer can change the dream.❤🔥

As recently discussed with mike levin and richard watson, the universe does have access to the signal integration within itself, the speed of light limiting the feedback loop is only applicable to the observer. (Bernardo referred to this as David Bohm's implicit order)

Dissociation can be seen as existing on a spectrum, or even within a hierarchy, where different levels of separation from a unified sense of self occur. At one end, we have everyday dissociation—like spacing out while driving. At the extreme, we find dissociative identity disorder (DID), where "alters" (alternative personalities) emerge, each with distinct memories, behaviors, and even physiological responses.

The concept of Mind at Large, as proposed by Aldous Huxley, suggests that consciousness is filtered through the brain to function in a practical way, but dissociation might be a way of shifting these filters. Some theories even suggest that alters in DID might reflect a fragmentation of consciousness akin to what happens at a cosmic scale—an individuated mind breaking off from a more unified state of awareness.

Thought itself can also be seen as dissociative—our minds constantly split between the past, present, and future, between logic and intuition, between identity and the unknown. Are these hierarchical layers of dissociation just different ways of perceiving reality, shaped by neurology and experience? Perhaps dissociation isn't just a disorder, but a window into the structure of consciousness itself.
