The reason why his body is scarred like that is because he still has cancer but his powers were given to him too late into the cancer so his powers replicate dead cancerous cells to heal him, so basically his body is a walking cancer on the verge of death but can never truly die.

How do you guys watch a movie yet DON'T watch a movie at the same time?

LOL, so many questions the movie literally explained to you two minutes ago!
(Watched the villain lift a guy by the neck... Listened to the villain's exposition that he can't feel anything... Deadpool hits him with an extinguisher and they're like, "Wait, does he have superpowers?)

Fair warning, if neither of you have seen Logan (2017) then you may want to watch it before Deadpool 2 (because Deadpool 2 spoils a major part of it within 15 minutes).
There are a few things you'd need to watch before Deadpool & Wolverine too, but someone else can write that list.

I also strongly suggest checking out some of the behind-the-scenes and trivia about the making of this film, because it's a pretty wild ride on its own.

48:40 - 'angel dust' is a slang name for PCP. Which fits her personality.
