You have the best bike money can buy for sure. Enjoy your life because that is what we work hard for. I traded my 1300 GS for the 1300 RT, and I'm having fun!

GS is a motor category by itself, even though everyone is trying to do what the Germans have been doing for five decades! The boxer engine works like a kind of gyroscope for them, which is why the motorcycle is so stable. Although it weighs 240 kg, the GSA around 280, as soon as it starts moving, the feeling of so much weight stops! The GS is an absolute champion in handling, the GSA even more so when exiting corners during more dynamic driving, thanks to the extra weight of the front end! I own a GS '25, and I bought it for its sportier look, it's smaller in volume and I use it daily without any problems, without problems in traffic jams, which would be a little more difficult with GSA. There is only one engine that I would rather choose for long trips, of course on asphalt roads, than the GSA. It's a BMW 1600 GT, literally the perfection of motorcycle technology! But if you're going on a real adventure, a GSA is the king, because you can load as many things as you want on it! And another thing you mentioned, comparing BMW's ASA to Honda's DCT transmission. That knock, the jolt that is heard when switching from first to second is inevitable, because the GS does not have a chain, but a cardan. They were trying to solve that problem, who which follows two evolutions of the GS and for now the latest series is much improved compared to its predecessors, but it will be difficult to eliminate completely, unless they start putting a chain too, but then it wouldn't be a GS, the highest quality, most desirable engine on the planet! Greetings and have fun on the best motorcycles of today!

That’s gotta be over $100k in toys sitting in that garage. Congrats on living your dreams dream, even if they are 35 years delayed.

Agree kissels is a great dealership. Purchased my rt and a used Indian from them. I’ll be up to their open house this weekend if the weather permits and can’t wait to try out that 1300 gs. Looks like a great bike.
