  When I was growing up, sometimes I would get to visit my grandparents at their beach house in Florida. At night when it was quiet all you could hear was the wind and the waves and it was so peaceful to fall asleep to. <br>I didn’t know how special that was. After so many years away from the ocean this album stirs up something deep inside and makes me cry.

  For those who don&apos;t know, the title &quot;Pilocene beach&quot; comes from the unfinished novel &quot;Night on the Galactic Railroad&quot; by Miyazawa Kenji. It&apos;s a well-loved classic in Japan. This album is a beautiful tribute.

  I&apos;m 26 years old and I have no idea who I am. I&apos;ve spent my whole life disengaging from myself and only worrying and thinking about others. My likes, my dislikes, my values, my personality, I couldn&apos;t tell you a single thing about them. It&apos;s been something heavy on my mind lately, and this album makes me reflect on that. Makes me wonder. It&apos;s a hard thing to think about, and to be honest a part of me wants to avoid it and keep being the empty shell that I am. But, I also know it&apos;s a good thing that it&apos;s being thought about. <br><br>So, thank you for posting this. It&apos;s a beautiful album, full of beautiful music that will hopefully help me find myself in the future. <br><br>To everyone: Please know you&apos;re the most important person in your life, don&apos;t hold others above yourself or your needs, otherwise you might be lost down the line.

  I am in a beach. The sand &nbsp;around me almost white, and crystal clear blue waters as far as the eye can see into the horizon. Seafowl and aquatic creatures i cannot recognize go about their lives before me, as clouds pass by. I am in a chair, the heat of the sun warms me but does not burn, there is no one else. I am dreaming, but i am awake for the first time in my life. At my back are dunes. I am the last, or first of my kind, and these sights are mine alone. I am not lonely, for the first and last time in my life I am at peace with myself. The dream is fading, but I am not unhappy, I know i will return one day, that the waking world is only temporary like the dream. I will be back someday, when all the parts of me that poison my soul fall away, and I can join the sea in front of me, another sight for the next dreamer to believe.

  I always come back here when i feel like everything&apos;s overwhelming. This album is just so beautiful and serene. It never fails to make me feel more grounded. Thank you, Mr. Isoda!

  Even if I feel like nobody believes in love anymore. I&apos;d like to think it still can exist in this wretched strange grim world we live in, cause i continue to try being an embodiment of it through my daily life. Toward people, the things i love doing, and loving myself by showering myself the best i can with gratitude and outstanding selflessness. If i do this, there&apos;s no doubt there&apos;s people out there that do the same as me, right?
