It isn't even a second chance for him, because the most contribution he made was warning himself, but for Oldeus, it's too late. He lived a miserable life and died

I don't think this episode breaks that rule, Oldeus doesn't get a second chance. For all intents and purposes both Oldeus and Rudy are "Rudeus Greyrat" but Oldeus coming back in time doesn't change the fate of his timeline, it doesn't reset the mistakes he made.

This was actually brought up with the author, people thought it'd be more impactful if we got the diary first then revealed that Oldeus came back in time but Rifujin said he had Oldeus come back first and then the diary on purpose because otherwise it'd feel like a redo and that wasn't what he was going for.

I wouldnt say that the rule is broken and that he was given a second chance; He still spent his life in hell. He still dies. He doesnt get a redo. Hes dead. The one last thing he managed to do was to give a different version of himself the life he wanted more than anything, and to deny the man god his win.

One fact that was overlooked about this episode, they did it again, It was released on wife appreciation day............... like the guys who set the airing dates have a sick twisted sense of humor, i mean its not as evident as what happened to Paul on on fathers day since this one is lesser known. But dam

Episode of the year...and if I'm lucky, I'll never need to watch it again because I'm traumatized enough already, thanks.

To know why Rudy fell so fast and so hard, there is a reason. To keep it short, he was a trauma case from his previous life. He was reborn and vowed to do better and he did, he stumbed a bit and not ideal for most people, but he did. However, like Alcoholics Anonymous members, they are never cured of their illness, they are recovering, they can always fall again and quicker than typical people. Rudy, in this time line, fell off the wagon.

20:12 Dont worry, they remove the bounty after Rudeus remove their entire knighthood. To be fair, it's kinda hard to hunt for someone when you have no hunters left

What Rudeus feels for Man-God's laugh at his pain is nothing compared with my feelings after hearing the way you talk.
