  It also basically states that Joseph and Mary had sex after Jesus was born when it says, "But he [Joseph] did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus." Matthew 1:25. I don't know how God can be any clearer on this matter.

  I was open to becoming Catholic, but every time I’m around one, they tend to have the same attitude as that guy.<br> Sometimes it feels like Catholics and Muslims behave similarly, more focused on rigid dogmas and biased reasoning than on showing Christ-like character.

  I see time and time again that you can just quote any of these councils that Catholics claim is infallible, and they just respond “that’s a strawman of what we Catholics believe, you don’t understand”… It is honestly remarkable. Perplexing to say the least. Not to mention the assumptions that are made when they try to claim Scripture teaches these Roman traditions. Like Luke 1 and Revelation passages you talked about. He just states as if it’s a matter of fact that those passages say Mary is worthy of our intercession. And we are just left looking around wondering “excuse me, what?”

  I find it odd that the Catholic said that it&apos;s either in the Bible, or it&apos;s not. And Mary being a Perpetual virgin, is not in the Bible. Is nor is her being the highest of All Creatures. And so on.

  Another mental gymnastics on the part of our dear Catholic friends. It is so obvious that their teachings are not biblical. But the length to which they go to make excuses is beyond me. May the Lord have mercy on them and on us sinners. For we are saved by his grace and mercy.

Nobody ever prays to her, and nobody considers her &apos;Immaculately conceived.&apos; Notice also in the verse that these are Jesus brothers!
