  As a former six generation, very faithful mormon- this is absolutely true of what they believe. I am so so thankful and grateful for being saved out of that hot mess!  I pray for them regularly to come out!! Lord, please give them eyes to see and ears to hear!❤

  Thank you pastor Mike. You were one of the first voices that god led me to to realize what was wrong with the LDS church. I’m leaving it. I’m finally reading the Bible now and trying to seek truth.

  Excellent video. If you can discredit the bible you can teach anything. I was Mormon for 37 yrs. Reading the bible has changed my life. Both gospel of John and Hebrews helped me to understand the correct character of God.

  I am now 75 years old. For the first 58 years of my life I believed in Mormonism I was raised in it. The only reason I remained in it for that long was that I married when I was 33 and then we divorced after 24 years my husband passed away and it made it easier to leave the church which means all my friends my family my whole social structure.<br>I was questioning way before that time probably about 20 years before all the things that I was taught and the questions that I asked were not responded to and the don&apos;t ask that question rely on your face and use your testimony and all of those admonitions. Instead I started reading the Bible and some Bible studies going to different churches and trying to get the Mormonism out of my brain as a frame of reference. To be honest I&apos;m still working on it I find it they&apos;re teaching still surface when it comes to matters of death and hereafter as again I&apos;m 75, and I&apos;m just grateful that I got away from it when I did and that I found the strength within myself to go forward and be open to Christianity.<br>I still struggle but I thank God we&apos;re standing by my side and direct me and showing me his light.<br>Thank you Mike I love your videos.. they&apos;re insightful and they can always spark questions and understanding in my heart and mind. &nbsp;God bless everyone.

  I&apos;m a Christian and my whole family are mormons. They are afraid to look or listen to anything else, it&apos;s alienated me from them. &nbsp;I tried but I can&apos;t help them. It&apos;s sad.

  I just got a Joseph Smith Translation tonight from the missionaries. I had asked them about Isaiah 45:7 and then watched your video regarding it. &nbsp;When I asked them if Joseph Smith had something &nbsp;to say about it, they thought that he only had input in the New Testament. &nbsp;When I saw them this evening, he said that he didn&apos;t realise that there were so many Old Testament verses in the JST. &nbsp;That means that he&apos;s looking. Hopefully he will be as the Boreans.

  I really appreciate all of this work - I left the &quot;church&quot; at the age of 22 (now living as a free follower of Jesus at 45) because I was challenged by a Christian friend to read the New Testament with no biases. &nbsp;I had no choice but to leave the church once reading the NT in context. &nbsp;I went to Ricks, was seminary president, and was &quot;doing all that I could do to live with Him someday.&quot; &nbsp;I am SO GRATEFUL to God for walking alongside me and shining a light on the lies and misinterpretations. &nbsp;No amount of apologetics could have likely done it, though (I really was trained to stay far away from &quot;anti-mormon yadda yadda&quot; and quick to defend the religion for really no good reason. &nbsp;Only God Himself through the NT could bring me out of the dark.<br><br>THEN, once I really started looking into the history, the actual doctrine, the practices, (and the Temple ceremony -- WHAT?!?!?!?), the masonry ties.. everything.. &nbsp;then I realized that my whole family is literally in a cult. &nbsp;I dont&apos; know how to help them see.

  Beginning around 1967 I joined the Mormon church and attended a Bible study every Sunday afternoon. We used whatever was the standard English version of the Bible at the time and when I questioned what they said about certain passages they told me the Bible was not translated properly. They never mentioned or came out with a Joseph Smith version of the Bible. I quit after a year because I could see through the false teachings.

  Thank you for helping it be easier to leave that church! I think of it more as a trust crisis than a faith crisis because I finally found out how much I have been lied to. Everything you have said here is true and it makes me sad. Can’t wait to get to know God outside of the lens of Mormonism.
