  I've been producing for 20 years. This is easily one of the best beat making videos on the internet, hands down. Without your head nodding in the frame, any FX tricks or graphics, not selling your new "sample" or "drum" pack, etc etc. Just straight Hip-Hop, perfectly explained and demonstrated.

  Tha hardest thing I struggle with is adding a simple bass line to a chopped sample, I can never get it to sit right

  Damn dude, I came here looking for a video to show my students an example of sampling and you just cooked up like 2.5 sick ass beats. When you said you love hip hop so much, I really felt that bleeding through this video. Great stuff.

  "Only had enough money for one record" Buddy I feel this with how much they're trying to charge for  vinyl nowadays. I like the last technique. Try to make the sample as unrecognizable as possible.

  Brother, I randomly came across this video on my algorithm (no search). I’ve been producing for about 2 years now, no placements, but have artists rap over my beats before and people have said they liked them, & and I also think I’m nice, but you just never know until you can get that undeniable confirmation. However, watching this video just reaffirmed that I’m fucking nice lmao. You are too. I pretty much knew about everything you said in the video but I’ve never watched a tutorial on how to do it, I’ve just been self discovering on the go. But this video proves that I actually know wtf I’m doing and it’s only a matter of time. Thanks bro.
