Tbh the vibe i always got from this show was that the creators wanted to do a standard slice of life, but felt pressured into adding stakes and lore to get attention

I think Disney had a lot of faith in this show and the writers just completely blew it. I’ve never seen a show that was so unbelievably convoluted with such high stakes where NOTHING HAPPENS

The kiss plotline could’ve actually been really cool if it wasn’t romantic! Imagine Hailey feeling the pressure of kissing Scott and throughout the series learns that she can choose her own future and doesn’t need to be “by the book.” It ends with Hailey kissing Scott on the cheek as a friend and provides a nice message to the audience about choosing your own path regardless of the challenges you might face along the way!

You know what else is dumb about the "Hailey kissing Scott" thing? She gets so stinking hung up on it being a romantic kiss she never once thought about just give Scott a friendly peck on the cheek. We've seen several times that a technicality, workaround, even loophole are just as efficient as the actual thing.

It's clear they wanted yet ANOTHER Starco or Adrinette without realizing how sick of them people got.

I think it might have worked better if they had leaned more into "Phineas and Ferb" logic, where everthing just seems to work out "by coincidence."

im honestly sad whenever a new cartoon gets cancelled unless it's dogshit, no show deserves to end on a cliffhanger

I didn't know Molly McGee was cut short. It was really hard to tell because the ending was quite good. Though, in hindsight, I can see how it was a tad rushed.

Honestly, the fact that the premise involved her being pressured/forced by the universe to kiss this boy or else the world would end felt super gross to me. The fact she had a crushed on him only helped wash it down so much

making a kids show that centers around climate change and not using that to educate kids on climate change is lowkey wackyyy to me 😭🙏 like im not saying they had to be preaching constantly about it but like j feel like 'climate change' is such a big, general, and misunderstood problem that if they got more specific and made her noticing the gradual effects and impact of certain climate issues to help build suspense it wouldve been much better for the show overall
