Maybe a whole new 'computer' is on the way not needing any of this . . .

Bro, I stream on 3 different platforms and playing a game like Resident Evil Requiem would tank 32GB of RAM. That is why I have 64GB of RAM.

I've had 128GB for about 6 years now, but I do a number of demanding things lol. I'm just glad I got it before the RAM crisis lol.
I'm still using the same machine currently. I may build something new next year, but we'll have to see what prices do.

For RAM there's a Rule: You can never have enough of it.

And it's coming, that Games and other Applications minimal Requirements, 32 GB of RAM are. I repeat: MINIMAL Requirement!!!

I think it also depends on the size of the screen. On my 13" laptop I don't use several programs at the same time, whereas on my desktop computer with the large monitor I have enough space for several windows and programs running side by side. Therefore 32 GB in my gaming PC and 8 GB in my little laptop are enough.

what would happen if it was 12 gb? (i always wondered why no one is talking about it)

I just upgraded my RAM from 16 to 32 GB and watching this video kinda calms me down knowing I made the right choice^^ I do some serious gaming where I play heavy demanding games and I just looove having detailed high resolution graphics. My CPU and GPU are already pretty strong it was only that bottleneck of RAM filling up so fast. I just hope my AMD ryzen 7 can handle quad channel RAM😳

I would put 24gb as min for low to mid gaming and 32gb for mid high. I use 96gb
