Toph: “Just give me a straight confirmation. Is he attractive?”
Zuko: “He’s very attractive.”
Uh Zuko, Toph said a STRAIGHT confirmation. 😅

Makes sense that Katara would be the one to suspect Toga was shady, considering where she learned her most powerful move from.

I learned it from Danny Motta, but apparently, there was a deleted extension of Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko’s fight with Tagah that (1) is metal as hell, (2) made the fight SO MUCH MORE BRUTAL, and (3) should not have been cut.

I think the reason the denied are so good at airbending is that they are not doing actual airbending. Their abilities are just enhancing their skills already. Aang said they were already incredible fighters.
It’s kind of like how zaheer was so good at airbending right off the bat. He was just an extremely skilled fighter and his airbending enhanced it

1:10 & 52:45 I hate to mention this because it's so sad to think about, but the reason Aang keeps showing memories of monk Gyatso from the perspective of a child even though he's an adult is because he never got to have memories of seeing him eye to eye. Even in the second scene, Aang is kneeling at the same perspective he remembers his friends, and then looks up at Gyatso instead of face to face because he can't imagine what that would've looked like 😭😭😭

It makes perfect sense to me that the denied can Airbender right away and be Masters at it. Because they didn't get it in the normal way they got it directly from the spirit world. When wan got it from the spirit world he knew what to do.

The Denied are very strong martial artists. Tagah also had from morning to night to teach them some techniques of airbending. Not to mention the fact that the Gaang has never fought an airbender trying to hurt them, with Zuko being the only one with ANY experience against an airbender and even then, Aang wasn’t trying to hurt him. Plus, the Gaang was still beating them. It’s just that the Denied got a few hits in. Mike Tyson isn’t a bad boxer just because he takes a few hits here and there.

i guess you could argue that Zaheer was able to suddenly be good at air bending when everyone in Korra got air bending so maybe the Deniders being good at air bending isnt that far off considering that they were very good fighters

17:17 that's a technique he learned from Fire Lord Ozai! He did the same thing during the Sozin's Comet fight, and Aang copies his fire bending move right here to save himself! Such a cool detail! 🔥🔥
