  I met Stephen King at a convention. My stepsister’s birthday was coming up and I wanted to get her a signed book. I found a copy of Cujo and got it signed. I still remember what he wrote. Happy birthday from Carol and me, Stephen King. Don’t let the dog bite.

  I like horror, but not the supernatural kind ,  I’m not into ghosts or spiritual stuff. So I’m gonna start with 11/22/63.

  I started with "rage" , I was 13. It was a real shock, I didn't imagine books could be like this. So I read shining and a universe was offered to me for life, then I didn't stop. 30 years with S. King ❤

  I started with 'On Writing' and I'm now 200 pages into The Stand. I am AMAZED at how good it is

  I highly recommend reading books by Stephen King’s son, Joe Hill. His writing can go head-to-head with King’s best books (and I love King)!

  11/22/63 is still one of the greatest things I&apos;ve ever read.<br><br>That being said I started with IT. Because it was my best friend&apos;s favorite book. The fact that it&apos;s over 1000 pages long and I started there, and loved it and seemed out more says a lot.

  There&apos;s one more reason to read them in the publication order: King, like everyone, gets better at a thing the more he does it. &nbsp;So, King&apos;s writing should get better as you follow his journey.

  Just started reading my first King book, 11.22.63. Holy damn, the storytelling is so good. On Day 1, I read 6 chapters, the most I have ever read in one sitting, and I don&apos;t read much.
